About 70 federal workers and their supporters rallied outside of the HUD offices in Denver on Wednesday morning calling for an end to the government shutdown.  The rally taking place as word came from Washington about a possible deal to end the shutdown and fund the government.

Workers said, once the shutdown is over, they want to be paid for the days they were locked out of their jobs.

The workers said the shutdown was something they never asked for and said they'd rather be on the job instead of on the streets with protest signs.
