The Rundown - Tues 12/5/17: Trump gives back land and gets SCOTUS victory

On Monday afternoon, President Trump announced that he is rescinding part of the Obama administration's designation of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante as national monuments. Although he had a few native Americans around him, it's far from clear that the tribes generally supported the move.

At 7:15 AM we'll talk with attorney Troy Eid who is representing one of the tribes that worked to get Bears Ears named as a national monument.

Later on Monday, the Supreme Court lifted injunctions placed by lower courts on the Trump administration's enforcement of their most recent "travel ban" signalling that the administration is likely to win on the merits if/when the case gets to them:

In Alabama, another woman shows evidence that she dated Roy Moore when she was 17 and he was in his 30s. In the same afternoon, the Republican National Committee returned to supporting Moore's campaign. Can you say "no good choices"?

This just reinforces my view that ABC's Brian Ross, the reporter who named the wrong man as the Aurora theater shooting, will not and should not return to work at ABC News:
