Arvada Fluoride Program On Hold Due To Equipment Issue

Arvada's supplemental fluoride program is on hold due to an equipment issue. The city says it won't be able to resume providing the drinking water additive until the middle of next year. It was recently discovered that a fluoride tank was leaking at the Ralston Water Treatment Plant, and it can't be repaired. A new feed system is currently in the design process. Arvada voters approved the fluoride program in the late 60s.
