The Rundown - Thursday, March 23, 2017: Club 42 kicks off; Trump team surveilled; London attacked; Concierge medicine; Are American kids really kidnapped?

Thanks to all of you who joined me for the pre-release screening of the new sci-fi thriller "Life". And a particular thanks to those who also joined me for beer and wings before the show. I'm looking forward to many future events for Club 42!

Yesterday, several people were killed and dozens injured in a terrorist attack in London. I will have little to say about it today, preferring to leave the initial aftermath as a time to think about the human consequences rather than about politics. Here is British PM Theresa May's commentary from Wednesday night:

The major political news of the day was made my House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) who explained that he brought information to the White House that President Trump and some of his campaign/transition team which showed that their names were included in intelligence reports summarizing the collection of information about NON-RUSSIAN foreigners. Democrats are furious that Nunes went to the White House with the information before he went to his own committee with it.

Today's guests:

6:36 AM Have you heard of "concierge medicine"? Sound like something for the rich and famous? We'll talk with “Dr. Josh” Umbehr, a "concierge" doc in Wichita, who I had read about in an interesting article (brought to my attention by a listener)

7:36 AM, one of my favorite guests, Lenore Skenazy, of We'll talk about whether it's reasonable for parents to fear that their young kids will be stolen and "sex-trafficked". Also, are people afraid to have boys as babysitters?
