Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus just had its last show in Washington DC and will shut down for good next week.

At 7:06, we'll talk with Janet M. Davis, Associate Professor of American Studies and History at the University of Texas at Austin, author of The Circus Age Culture and Society under the American Big Top


Following up on a recent interview on the show with a reporter about the use of solitary confinement in prisons, today at 8:06 we'll talk with Colorado Department of Corrections head Rick Raemish who made news last year by putting himself in solitary and finding it intolerable after less than a full day.

Former Obama Nat'l Security Advisor is once again the center of controversy. The way various people are reacting to the story is a reflection of the whole country, media, etc.

It's getting ugly in the media: Bill O'Reilly accuses CNN's Don Lemon of not covering the Susan Rice story. Lemon responds by covering sexual harassment accusations made against O'Reilly, as laid out in a Washington Post story several days ago:
