UPDATE: The Defense Dept. has just released video of the MOAB ("Massive Ordnance Air Blast", nicknamed "Mother of all Bombs") dropped in Afghanistan:

The US used one of these in combat for the first time ever yesterday, dropping it on (or actually just above) a cave and tunnel complex created by the Taliban and now used by ISIS. It is the most powerful (though not actually the largest) non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal. 

At 6:06 AM (and probably again later in the show), we'll talk with former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense, Jed Babbin, about what the use of this bomb means (and doesn't mean).
