The Rundown - Monday, 6/12/17: Jared Polis on running for governor; Adam West, RIP; McDonalds' brand image; Broncos stadium naming rights

Adam West passed away this weekend. I don't think this news needs any further words from me...

8:06 AM guest: Congressman Jared Polis (D-Boulder), now candidate for Colorado governor

OK, it's quite unlikely that my friend Jared Polis will get me to vote for him for governor, but he's obviously a very formidable candidate now that he's entered the race. Join me Monday for Jared's first in-depth radio interview after announcing his candidacy.

Here's his first campaign video...unsurprisingly it's quite a slick little production:

You've heard that Sports Authority went bankrupt and therefore the naming rights for Mile High Stadium are now up for grabs. But Metro State professor of marketing Darrin Duber-Smith argues that the naming rights are actually what, at least substantial part, bankrupted Sports Authority. So who will, and who should, take on that enormous expense now?

We talked a bit last week about McDonalds partnering with UberEats to allow delivery of McDonalds all around the Denver metro area. What's the thinking behind the partnership, and on a larger scale how is McDonalds managing its reputation and brand in this age of changing taste in food and in burgers? We'll talk with Amanda Rieter, the Field Brand Reputation Manager - Rocky Mountain Region for McDonald's USA, about all of this stuff.

And one lucky winner will get McDonalds' breakfast delivered to him or her!!!

I admit it, I like "Hawaiian pizza." The guy who invented it not only wasn't Hawaiian, he wasn't even American. And he just passed away.

Back to Batman for a minute...anything better than the fight scenes (other than perhaps Catwoman any time she was on the screen)?
