This answer by Jeff Sessions in the video below, which now appears to have been at least misleading (though I suspect Sessions simply wasn't thinking of meetings held in his capacity as a senator), has Democrats fuming. Senate Dems are not going to be nice to him during his Tuesday afternoon testimony even though he's a former member of their club.
I'm not a fan of Sessions, and stories make clear that President Trump is upset with him for recusing himself from the "Russia investigation." But the harm to the president would be substantial if Sessions is forced to resign. Trump needs to support him for at least 6-12 months and then let Sessions go, if that's how it has to go, in a way that does not appear to be related in any way to a scandal, to Russia, etc.
At 6:06 AM, I'm going to play the conversation I had with Congressman, and now candidate for governor, Jared Polis (D-Boulder). There's a lot to say about the way he's jumping into the race and I'm still trying to understand his strategery. We'll discuss during the 6 AM hour.
Should I sign this? I'm not sure whether it makes me laugh or cry?
On Monday, the defense rested its very short case in the sexual assault trial of Bill Cosby. Seems like the star witness was the (alleged) victim's mother. I think it will be a hung jury because Cosby is so beloved. Someone or more than one on the jury will think the woman he drugged and assaulted (A) secretly wanted it, (B) was just trying to use Cosby to further her own career, (C) is just seeking publicity, etc. I don't believe any of those things; I think he's a rapist who should have gone to prison long ago. But I also don't think he'll be convicted.
I loved video games when I was a kid in the 70's and 80's. I'd have to say my favorite was Defender. What was your favorite game? And how many games do you think you can recognize by their sounds?
