7:06 AM and 9:06 AM Guest: Senator Cory Gardner
Now that he's seen much of the Senate health care bill, Senator Cory Gardner is...still on the fence? We'll talk with Cory about his reaction to the delay in the Senate vote on the bill. We'll also discuss one of Cory's main areas of focus: North Korea.
Yesterday, the Supreme Court of the United States ordered Colorado's state supreme court to reconsider their ruling blocking school vouchers in Douglas County. This is in light of the Court's opinion in the case of Trinity Lutheran which hints that the high court wants more openness by states to allow money to go toward the non-religious functions of religious organizations.
So at 6:36 AM we'll talk with Ross Izard, Senior Education Policy Analyst at Independence Institute and ask him what this means.
And then at 8:36 AM we'll talk with Fred Yarger, the Solicitor General of the State of Colorado who will likely be the man arguing the case in front of the federal Supreme Court if it gets there.
At 8:45 AM, I'll be joined in studio by Denver comic Josh Blue, the guy who "puts 'cerebral' in cerebral palsy"! Josh is playing at Comedy Works South at the Landmark.
