The Rundown - Weds 7/26/17: Senate moves to debate; Trump trashes Sessions

A very interesting, even moving, speech by John McCain on his return to the Senate after being diagnosed with brain cancer. McCain's return provided the 50th vote which in turn allowed Vice President Pence to break the tie and allow the Senate to proceed to debate on various bills and amendments relating to Obamacare and Medicaid reform. It remains somewhat unlikely that the Senate will get anything important done but as I've said before it's not usually a good idea to bet against Mitch McConnell.
