The Rundown - Mon 8/7/17: No to "bipartisan" health insurance reform

The NY Times is trying to stir up dissent among Republicans, and between some Republican politicians and President Trump by suggesting that some, including Vice President Pence, are preparing to run for president in 2020. I actually don't think it's silly for people to be thinking about this, though I think the NY Times' approach is wrong.

I don't think that it's only because I'm Jewish that this story bothers me so much. The town council, and then an overseeing court, have ruled against the construction of a synagogue in the Sydney-area beach town of Bondi because the building could be a terrorist target:
