The Rundown - Tues 9/26/17: More NFL fallout; Heidi Ganahl

Steelers' lineman Alejandro Villanueva was a hero to many on Sunday for standing alone at the end of the tunnel with his hand over his heart. On Monday, he apologized for what he said was a mistake (not of judgment but of how and when he walked to the end of the tunnel) which put him in that position.


I got a LOT of emails from folks saying they were furious with the Broncos for (some of them) kneeling during the national anthem on Sunday. My take: give them a break; this protest was against Trump. Now, if they KEEP kneeling in coming weeks, I think it would be more fair to be upset but if I were a betting man, I'd bet that coach Vance Joseph, a strong believer in standing for the anthem, will try to keep that from happening.

At 7:36 we'll talk with CU Regent Heidi Ganahl about CU-Boulder saying they will stick with Obama-era rules (which some people believe are unfair) regarding how young men accused of sexual assault are treated by a university's investigation and punishment process. Hillary Clinton, who like some sort of toenaiil fungus simply won't go away, is commenting on the NFL vs Trump with the primary accusation that this is about Trump attacking black athletes:
