The Rundown - Weds 10/25/17: Flake retiring (but not shy);Dossier bombshell

Important conversation this morning with our 6:36 AM guest, Amanda Ruggeri:

Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, author of a book criticizing President Trump, gave a "fiery speech" on the Senate floor Tuesday to announce that he will not seek reelection. He would very likely have lost his primary. While Steve Bannon is certainly happy today, he'd better hope that a Democrat doesn't end up picking up that seat.

Tennessee Senator Bob Corker, who has also announced his retirement, also slammed President Trump in an interview with CNN, repeatedly calling him (in so many words) a liar and not fit for the job.

But probably the best interview of the night was on Fox News where Brian Kilmeade had a great discussion with Lindsey Graham. I'm not much of a Graham fan on a policy basis but his answers last night were near-perfect:

Meanwhile, the Washington Post dropped a bombshell on the DNC and what remains of the Hillary Clinton campaign: "Clinton campaign, DNC paid for research that led to Russia dossier"
