The Rundown - Thurs 12/13/17: Sen Ron Johnson; Biden comforts Meghan McCain

First, this is a great human moment. Second, this is why Joe Biden would be president if he were the Democratic nominee in 2016. One wonders if he will run in 2020.

On Monday, I had the opportunity to see a pre-release screening of the new Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi. For long-time Star Wars fans, it's cool to see some of the characters and actors who remind us of our childhoods. I'm still trying to decide how much I liked the movie.

At 7:36 AM, Christian Toto, who sat two seats over from me, will join me in studio to talk about The Last Jedi and other fun stuff.

At 7:06, we'll talk with Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) who was the first Republican senator to express opposition to the tax bill a few weeks back, but seems to be on board now. We'll ask Ron whether/how his concerns have been addressed. We'll also talk about his reaction to the Alabama election and an interesting bill he's co-sponsoring with a couple of Democrats that would require colleges to inform students about various aspects of their student debt. More about that bill here:
