Matt Schlapp joins us Monday morning at 6:12 AM MT (with replay later in the show) to talk about the government shutdown. Who's winning and losing politically? And who's losing among the actual people in America who elect these horrendous politicians?
At 7:15 we'll take a break from the Shutdown to tell you about an interesting and important event regarding the opioid crisis here in Colorado:
Dreamland in Denver will be a unique and powerful evening featuring insightful and inspiring stories from leaders on the front lines of Colorado’s & the Nation’s Opioid Epidemic.
Starts at 5:30 PM this Wednesday at the University of Colorado medical school

Regarding Dreamers/DACA, I believe the GOP must and will act, but not immediately, e.g. not in a way that makes it look like Schumer forced their hand. My thoughts on the Republican politics of immigration reform:
And now back to your regularly scheduled shutdown:
Even CNN played this video on Sunday. There are so many of these. Hard to win calling Dems hypocrites but when the evidence is this obvious it's a card that the GOP should play early and often.
This takes a special kind of stoopid on the first night of the #SchumerShutdown: (And please don't email me to tell me that I spelled that wrong.)
