The Rundown - Weds 2/14/18: Happy Valentines Day!; Brian Wesbury

7:06 AM guest: Brian Wesbury! Many of us expect big economic gains from the recent tax reform law, but might a complete abandonment of fiscal discipline by Republicans and President Trump cause those gains not to show up? Also, what does Brian think about the prospect of inflation right now?

This Rob Porter situation should have been a one-day story, even with a media eager to "get Trump." The fact that it's been with us for a week or more shows terrible judgement and borderline incompetence by the White House, though it could simply be that people like Sarah Sanders and John Kelly are falling on their swords for a president who will never, ever, ever admit a mistake of any kind.
