At 6:34 we'll talk with Alex Pollack about the upcoming Dodd-Frank reform. Is it really going to be enough to spur the formation of new community banks? More here: http://thehill.com/opinion/finance/377211-senate-bill-isnt-a-death-sentence-for-dodd-frank-far-from-it
At 6:48, we'll be joined by District Attorney George Brauchler who will explain this crazy story: http://dailycaller.com/2018/03/12/mennonite-greta-lindecrantz-robert-ray-death-penalty/
At 7:06, we'll talk to Sir Ken Robinson, one of the most important thinkers in the world of education, who still holds the record for the most-viewed TED talk on the subject of "How Schools Kill Creativity." Sir Ken joins us to talk about his new book, "You, Your Child, and School." This is of particular importance to me right now as the parent of two school-aged kids as I try to determine what's best for them.
The special election in Pennsylvania's 18th congressional district ended Tuesday evening too close to call. A lot of people are going to read a lot into this race, and almost all of it will be things they really can't conclude despite the Democrats doing 20% better than they did in the presidential election.
We'll talk about a few aspects of it such as the quality of these candidates, the impact of the Libertarian candidate, the future of this district, and more. I don't think we'll have the answer for more than 24 hours.
The MSM is going crazy with how President Trump fired Secretary or State Rex Tillerson, namely by announcing it on Twitter before actually telling Tillerson. Does any actual American voter give a rat's behind about that? Tillerson was not pleased and did not mention Trump in his remarks in what will be his last day at the office (although his last official day will be March 31.)
Bastiat is always right: I wonder how gun-hating Democrats would process the fact that gun sales and the stocks of gun companies did fantastically well while Barack Obama was president but have dropped off so much under Trump that the historic Remington Arms company is filing for bankruptcy.
