Still trying to do the "cleanup on aisle 5", President Trump spoke with Jeff Glor of CBS News and finally gave the right answer about Russian meddling in the election. For the record, the meddling is a problem, but looking weak to Putin is an even bigger problem. A ridiculous situation for Trump -- who is all about appearing strong -- to have put himself in. Let's see how long he can go without contradicting himself again.


The new Democratic Socialist heartthrob of America, the soon-to-be-Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently told Margaret Hoover on Firing Line that the United States did not start with a capitalist economy. Not sure what gave her that idea, but we'll discuss with Prof. Tom Krannawitter, PhD, at 7:06 AM Thursday.

Maria Butina was arrested and charged with being an unregistered Russian agent. Not agent as in spy, but agent as in someone lobbying or otherwise trying to impact American policy on behalf of a foreign government. 

I have to think this is cover for a larger espionage investigation. But the whole story is odd, including her sleeping with a man twice her age who was well-connected with the NRA and the GOP.
