President Carter Joins Country Music Stars at Nashville Habitat Build

Despite a nasty fall last Sunday that left him with 14 stitches on the forehead former President Jimmy Carter spent time working on projects for Nashville's Habitat for Humanity on Monday.

Carter wielded a nail gun to build homes alongside country stars Eric Paslay and Trisha Yearwood along with hundreds of volunteers to build homes in Park Preserve, a Habitat community inside Music City.

Carter took time to praise Nashville's efforts to help those needing homes saying "In a land full of singers and songwriters we're always looking for different ways to say 'I love you' but when you go out with your hands and feet that's the best way to say it."

Jimmy Carter continues to volunteer and advocate at the age of 95.
