In a riveting interview on "The Joe Pags Show," lawyer and founder of the Article 3 Project, Mike Davis, shared his insights on President Biden's Supreme Court wishlist and the evolving political landscape.
Davis began by claiming that the leadership of the Secret Service is politicized, alleging that Biden and Kamala Harris are directly responsible for the near-assassination of Trump due to their rhetoric and inadequate security for the former president.
Switching gears, Davis discussed the potential changes Biden wants to make to the Supreme Court. He warned that if Kamala Harris is in the White House by January, they might nuke the legislative filibuster, lowering the vote threshold. Davis asserted that with control of the Senate and House, they could pack the court with radical left-wing liberals, emphasizing that "they are playing for keeps."
Davis elaborated on the importance of lifetime appointments for Supreme Court justices, explaining that such appointments ensure that justices are insulated from external pressures like bribes or the need to secure future employment. This independence allows them to make decisions based solely on the law and the Constitution, free from political or financial influence. Changing this system to implement term limits would require a constitutional amendment, which Davis noted is a significant and complex process.
Addressing the Democratic strategy, Davis pointed out that despite Biden holding all the delegates, the party might still hand the nomination to Kamala Harris, stating, "they don’t care if they disenfranchise millions of people."
The conversation also touched on the left's new strategy of labeling certain individuals as "weird," which Pags and Davis proudly embraced, turning it into a badge of honor.
