President Donald Trump has been both praised and criticized for his decision this week to formally recognize Jerusalem, a site of tension for Israelis and Palestinians, as the capital of Israel.
“This is nothing more or less than a recognition of reality,” Trump said. “It was also the right thing to do.”
Glenn praised Trump’s fortitude in being able to make a decision on Jerusalem, something past presidents have been delaying for decades, but he also offered a caveat: Trump’s words must translate into action by moving the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
“He’s got to move the embassy,” Glenn said. “You’ve got to move the embassy, and you’ve got to move it before he’s out of office.”
