Couple Forced To Jump Into 90-Foot Gorge While Taking Photos To Avoid Train

A married couple is lucky to be alive after a dangerous photoshoot went awry. The couple, identified as Rahul Mewada, 22, and Jhanvi, 20, were taking photos while walking along the train tracks on the Gormaghat Bridge in northwest India.

The area is a popular tourist location, as people flock to the area for the breathtaking views.

While Rahul and Jhanvi were busy taking photographs, a train approached. The couple remained oblivious to the danger as the train barreled down the tracks. With just seconds to spare before being hit by the train, Rahul and Jhanvi were forced to jump off the bridge, falling into the gorge 90 feet below.

Miraculously, the pair survived the fall and were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Rahul is listed in critical condition with spinal injuries. Jhanvi reportedly suffered a broken leg in the fall.
