Authorities in Washington, D.C., are asking the public for help identifying two men accused of stealing 100 bottles of tequila from the back of a delivery truck in an armed robbery.
The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department said that two men pulled up behind the truck in a burgundy Nissan Maxima and confronted the driver.
"Back up, I got a draco," one of the men told the driver, using the slang term for an AK-47-style rifle. The other man said, "If he moves, I bust him."
Then, one of the suspects hopped into the back of the truck and started unloading cases of alcohol. Authorities said the men stole ten cases of Don Julio. Each case has ten bottles, which are valued at about $50 each.
The two men then fled the scene.
Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the men. They asked anybody who may have information about the case to contact the police by calling 202-727-9099 or texting the department's tip line at 50411.
