The high-priced Denver housing market is having a major impact on potential millennial buyers in the area. A survey from ApartmentList shows only 20-percent of current renters in that age bracket could afford a ten-percent down payment in the next five years. Twelve-percent of millennials who are currently renting believe they'll do so for life. Right now, the median price of a metro-area home is over 450-thousand-dollars.
