Michael breaks out his pocket constitution to review the First Amendment. The Founding Fathers included the Freedom of the press for a reason. They had underground pamphlets to expose the lies the monarchy was telling them. Today, the mainstream press is the voice of the metaphorical "monarchy' instead of the unbaised truth.
As for understanding the Second Amendment, this is a case from 2008 when the late Justice Scalia explained it. It's a long read, but a good one. You can start of page 4, or skip to page 8 when he goes thru each part of the amendment.
