Over our short Xmas/New Years break, I built a headphone amplifier. It was a lot of fun and it actually worked the first time. Gotta be careful soldering such small parts!
Oh, I did it in Broncos colors, including the power cords which I made myself as well!

And it sounds great!
Basically, I bought a nice little DAC (digital-to-analog converter) which takes digital music signals from my computer, outputs the analog signal to this headphone amp, which then plays the music through headphones which plug in to the jack toward the front right of the amp.
Let's me listen to great-quality music without bothering others in the house.
